Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Para viajar por el mundo con una aproximácion más allá de los estereotipos y desde lo típicamente turísitico, conocer a nuevas personas y culturas y, además, viajar de forma más barata jaja. Además, poder ofrecer alojamiento y panoramas mientras pueda (no en estos momentos).

To travel around the world with an approach beyond stereotypes and mainstream stuff, meeting new people and cultures and travel in a cheaper way haha. Also, to offer a place to stay and things to do while I can (currently not).

Music: I really like to listen music and knowing some new music, my favourite genres are rock, rap, funk, cumbia, reggaeton and salsa.

Movies: I really like cinema! Some of my favourite movies are: The Big Lebowski (THE BEST!!), Pulp Fiction, Ghost Dog, Scarface, Jackie Brown, the Star Wars Saga, the Nolan's Batman Trilogy, Unbreakable, Cidade de Deus, Bone Tomahawk, Tree Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, A Clockwork Orange, Arrival, Incendies, Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Se7en, The Wolf of Wall Street, El Secreto de sus Ojos, Clerks, Trainspotting, Irreversible, etc.

TV Series: The Wire, The Office US, Trailer Park Boys, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Community, Atlanta, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, True Detective, Game of Thrones, Peep Show, Rick and Morty, Bojack Horseman and, obviously, The Simpsons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Subir las pirámides de Chichen Itza y conocer Disney cuando niño. Ya más grande y con amigos, recorrer varios senderos en parques nacionales, entre ellos, Hornopiren (sur de Chile, empezando la Carretera Austral), que consistió en varios kilómetros en subida en un sendero irregular, lleno de barro, húmedo y cargando TODO lo que llevamos para el mochileo, para pasar un frío tremendo en la noche. A pesar de eso, valió la pena.

Climbing the Chichen Itza's pyramids and going to Disney when I was a kid. Later, as a grown-up man and with some friends, hiking thru a lot of National Parks, among them, Hornopiren (South of Chile, starting the Carretera Austral), which was a lot of kms climbing a shitty path, full of mud and carrying ALL THE STUFF we brought to the hitchiking journey, to finally spend a really cold night. Despite all of this, it was worth it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enseñar español (o ayudar en inglés, ya que algo me manejo en ese idioma), conversaciones de variados temas, lavar platos, contribuir a la limpieza del lugar, y básicamente ser un buen viajero, respetuoso de las personas del hogar que me acoja, de sus rutinas y hábitos, así como mucha disposición a conocer la ciudad/localidad de turno e ir de fiesta.

Teaching spanish (or helping to improve english, despite it isn't my native language), conversations about a lot of topics, washing dishes, collaborate with cleaning and, basically, being a nice traveller, respectful of the people who host me, of their routines and habits. Also I have a lot of disposition of knowing the city and partying.
