About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Shoot for the moon. If you miss, you'll land among the stars" - LB

ABOUT ME

Well, to start let's agree that this is a difficult test, so I will try and do my best to write something you are not bored to read here. Lets go!!

Firstly, I'm a relaxed and easy going guy that's just looking to have great time, meet new friends, and travel as much as possible. Love to laugh, sing in the car, dance, eat, get lost, and a bunch of stuff.

Big music fan!! Music is a vital part of my life and its basically my fuel. I like almost everything, from classical, rock, indie... to punk, heavy metal and electronic. Right now I'm kinda crazy for dubstep and electro dance music, which is AWESOME!!

I have been really lucky to travel around the world, being able to visit places in almost every continent. Apart from my hometown Santiago, I have lived in Barcelona and Sydney for some time, from where I took the opportunity to travel as much as I could. This lead me to enjoy almost a year of travels, where I met amazing places, tried crazy food, but most important of all, got to know so many incredible people from so many places, sharing life lasting expiriences and good times with all.

This travels and international friends taught me the importance of sharing as much as you can with everyone and also the importance of being yourself, as is the best way to really share expiriences with others. This also lead me to join couchsurfing, and try to keep up this traveling life even when I'm at home.

Looking forward to meet you all, as we can continue this description personally!!

PHILOSOPHY

"Pa andarse peando mejor cagarse"

Not that easy to explain in english, but sounds something like this:

"If you are farting, it's much better to take a shit"

Its kinda of a gross way to say: don't do it halfway, go for it all the way!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am now living with my best friend as a flatmate in Santiago. We have a really cool flat, which has a spare room.

We want to share this room with surfers that are passing by Santiago, as we know how great it is to enjoy of some local hospitality.

I love my city, and I have this tour guide thing inside of me, so I would gladly share a daytrip in Santiago and my knowledge of the city to anyone who wants to join.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven´t couched myself, even though I travelled a lot... but I'm planning on doing it soon!!

During this year I have hosted really great people, so I'm looking forward to keep on hosting and meeting really cool new people!!

Interests

I'm interested in enjoying every minute of my life, hopefully sharing it with friends having a blast!

Really interested in great discussions with creative ideas, going out to explore the night, enjoy a smooth hookah, dance to live music, urban life... and many more!

Music, Movies, and Books

The correct order of my interests would be Music, Books and Movies.

Music is my life, and some of my favourite bands are: Pink Floyd, Radiohead,LCD Soundsystem, The Beatles, Daft Punk, Knife Party, Sigur Ros, Foo Fighters... and many more!!

I never lose the opportunity to go to a concert/festival or any opportunity to enjoy live music.

I love to read, and I try to do it as much as I can. I really like historic novels and interesting biographies.

In movies I keep it simple, my favourites are comedy an action movies. Top 3 Ranking: Anchorman, Old School, Happy Gilmore... see were I'm going?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been lucky to visit Chilean Patagonia, twice. It's my favortite place in the world, and the first time nature really impressed me.

Visiting Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia, I have done the full trek also known as "O". After the toughest day were you go uphill for a few hours... you end appearing at the top of the mountain witnessing the full length of Glaciar Grey. I think that everyone should come to this place and feel the same way I did witnessing this peacefull and impressive view, it gets you to the core.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that travelling is a great opportunity to try out things that for some reason you wouldn´t do or find at your home place. Of course that everyone must be clear on their boundaries… but things like to just go and talk to a stranger, get lost in a night out and party like there is no tomorrow, skydive or bungee jump, try the local food even if it seems gross… take that further step that you normally didn´t took before. That´s what you have to do!!
