"But of what are you a professor?"

"Aesthetics."

"What are aesthetics?"

"The study of beauty."

"Beauty? What for?"

"Beauty. Why not."

PHILOSOPHY

I think Everyone should get at least 20 hugs a day, and smile and laugh and taste the beauty in life. Take the bad with grace and know that things work in cycles
==============
If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans
==============
That people should follow their own path.
Truth is a different truth to each person, and that it is good to have the earnest discipline to remain open to change.
I love to laugh and especially that embarrassed feeling you get when you just realize you made a fool of yourself.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I've been on Couch Surfing.com for more than 10 years, and it remains one of the most endearing and important things in my life.

I believe that travel doesn't have to be impersonal, expensive, and lonely.

I love to host travelers whenever I stay in one place and have a roof to do so!

By spreading sunshine, laughs and memories with all the wonderful people that let me in their lives!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hitchhiked for 3 years from Romania, through Bulgaria, the western coast of Turkey and Greece.

Hosted over 57 couchsurfers one heady summer at my apartment in Brooklyn, NYC

Running down a mountain trail as fast as I could with Boyan, and the bulgarian countryside screaming in front of me

Hiking in the Balkan Mountains trudging through the snow with my wonderful friends Boyan and Geri, then on the train back to Sofia, getting invited to go rock climbing by a stranger and becoming great friends

Played ultimate frisbee with 28 other college students, all strangers to me, and everyone of them from different countries, playing together and speaking 6 or 7 languages at a time in a conversation. This was in a courtyard in front of the Himeji Castle in downtown Himeji, Japan

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I've apprenticed under a five star chef from the French Culinary Federation for 3 years. I love the craft and tactile experience of cooking; how it can amaze & surprise. How food can be so connected one's identity. I love to cook for people but moreover I love to learn the foods that another grew up with, what they associate with tastes and color.
