About Me

Hi, my name is Javiera. I'm Chilean and currently living in Canada. Since I was very young, I’ve loved traveling — I started backpacking through South America and later went to explore Europe. I spent three amazing years living in Torres del Paine National Park, immersed in nature, where I had the opportunity to work and grow in a unique environment. Since then, I’ve been working across Canada, embracing new experiences and constantly learning along the way

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I truly enjoy connecting with fellow travelers and people who share a passion for cultural exchange, embracing new experiences, and exploring the wonders of nature and the mountains. There’s something special about meeting individuals who are open to change and are eager to learn from different cultures, perspectives, and environments. For me, Couchsurfing is the perfect platform for people like us—those who are curious, adventurous, and appreciate the beauty of authentic connections. It's a space where we can not only meet but also share stories, experiences, and ideas, creating memories that last far beyond the trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m drawn to the mysterious and the unknown. I love immersing myself in psychological thrillers like La isla siniestra, which keeps my mind on edge, always craving the next twist. Robin Sharma’s books inspire me with their wisdom on leadership and personal growth, while my fascination with quantum physics keeps me wondering about the very fabric of reality. Spirituality plays a big role in my life, as I seek deeper connections with myself and the universe. Tarot is something I turn to for introspection and guidance, helping me navigate the path ahead with clarity and purpose

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

challenge myself by crossing the John Gardner Pass, and tackle the O Circuit of Torres del Paine alone. I believe these experiences will help me grow and push my boundaries, both physically and mentally.

What I Can Share with Hosts

It’s not just about finding a place to stay; it’s about creating bonds with people who share a passion for exploring the world and exchanging perspectives. I believe that these kinds of genuine connections are what make travel truly enriching. I look forward to not only sharing stories but also learning from each other's journeys, embracing different cultures, and creating memories that go far beyond just the places we visit!
