About Me
After living all my life in different cities in Europe (Madrid, Toulouse, Liverpool, Maastricht), I recently moved to la Vera, a marvellous rural area in southwest Spain.
My academic background is a rollercoaster. After completing a dual bachelor in law and political science in Madrid, I did a master in Europan Law at Maastricht University. Then I realized I didn't want to be a lawyer and decided to start coding to learn data science. Things have been good, although I'm already fed up with computers and data.
While I decided how to make a living outside the digital world, I work as a freelancer, dealing with data science and legal research projects, ideally related to sustainability and climate change.
But, to be honest, I try to work as less as possible. I prefer spending my time writing, reading and thinking about how we can solve the climate crisis. I guess that's one of the reasons I live now in a rural area.
I'm also learning how to play guitar and piano.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first experience in Couchsurfing was in Paris, back in 2014. In the following years, I used it quite a few times and always had great experiences, either hosting, being hosted, or meeting people that are still my friends today.
But I haven't used it that much in the last years. I guess I didn't have the chance or the need to use it. But then a conversation with a friend about Couchsurfing made me think, and here I am again. I don't travel much any more (I try to avoid flights), but I can host people coming to la Vera, one of the most amazing places in Spain. So feel free to contact me if you need a couch!

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of music, all kinds of movies (I recently discovered horror movies), and not every kind of book, but I'm always open to hearing suggestions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking in central Europe (northern Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Chequia) with my lovely little friend Anna (who I happened to meet through Couchsurfing)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A comfortable and lovely house in Aldeanueva de la Vera, a little town surrounded by mountains, forests and water gorges, with Julia, my human companion, and Gati, my cat companion. Unfortunately, our landlord doesn't allow us to let other animals in our house. It's a shame, but the guy is a bit violent and it's better not to bother him
Countries I’ve Visited
