About Me

Hi Couchsurfers. How are you?
I'm Javier from argentina and I'm currently living in the state of São Paulo - Brazil with Paula, my beautiful girlfriend.
We are a young couple, healthy and fun, who love to: travelling, learning languages, practicing sports, making friend and get to know people from all over the world.
Too we are curious about the exchange of cultures, cooking and life's experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that Couchsurfing is one of the best and different ways to travel. Through it, we can discover every place in the world whenever we want and wherever we want. That is why I'd like to accommodate you and help you feel at home.

BIG ANECDOTE: In february of 2016, through CouchSurfing I met Paula (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2002443159) in our holidays (in Santa Catarina - Brazil), we had a strong affinity and we spent unforgettable moments.
Then, she visited me in Argentina several times (obviously that I gave her accomodation in my couch), I visited her in Brazil and from there we became inseparable.
After many comings and goings, I quitted my job, sold my things and finally I'm here to live my life with her.

Interests

I could also say that I'm crazy about football, too I'm a lover of nature and I sometimes get away from the city to go hiking, trekking, mountain biking, visit rivers and beautiful landscapes around here.

I work monday through friday but when I have free time, I like to get together with friends to talk (sometimes practice other languages), cook (occasionally delicious meals from other countries) and drink some beers and wines.

Music, Movies, and Books

About music?. It's like a medicine. Sometimes you could feel better and change your mood just listening to a song. I don't have a defined genre but I like pop, R&B, sertaneja, international, etc. And about movies?. I'm a huge fan of cinema, my favorite genres are comedy and rom-coms. If I recommend a movie, it would be: Notting Hill, Kate & Leopold, The Family Man. And about books?. To be honest, I haven't read a lot of books. But if I could have the possibility to recommend one, it would be: "The Shadow of the Wind", this is an awesome story!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Something that I would consider as incredible would be: bungee jumping, skydiving and scuba diving. The adrenaline rushing through my veins is a feeling I would not change.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to teach my argentinian culture, far more than drinking "mates" or fernet with coca cola, making asados (BBQ) and empanadas.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer to my hosts great company, amazing stories and a little piece of the argentinian and the brazilian culture.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
