About Me

I'm a 21 year old computer science student who enjoys experiencing new things and meeting new and interesting people. I love to code as a career, but I enjoy songwriting and singing as a hobby. I love music but film is my favorite art form. I consider myself a progressive person, who enjoys diversity and all of its shapes and flavors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing because I truly believe that there's no better way of learning about a culture, than by its locals. I really enjoy creating lasting connections with people from all walks of life, cause I truly believe that what no hotel can give to its hosts, its the warmth and personal care a couch and a host provide.

Interests

I'm interested in Technology and Startups, Politics, Literature, Music, Art, the Environment and the impact technology can have in Health.

Music, Movies, and Books

With music there's very little I dislike. But my favorite artists include Lana del Rey, The Beach Boys, M83, Nina Simone, Frank Ocean, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young among others. With movies it's really hard for me to say, but I'm a big fan of Tarantino's work, with Kill Bill Vol. 1 being my favorite. And with books its a though choice, but I just finished reading Jack Kerouac's, On The Road and it really spoke to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well there's to. I met Lana del Rey which is probably one of the highlights of my life. But besides that, I would have to say that winning 1st at UT Austin's Hackathon was a great experience. It was the first year that any teams from either Mexico or my school singed up, and we managed to get in and actually win.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach and share my computer science experience, with basic programming classes. I could also share some of the stuff I've written, and get feedback from hosts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share really good times with hosts. I truly enjoy being around cool people and create a friendly environment. I enjoy telling stories about my life, and more importantly I love hearing about the life of other people.
