About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Helping my aunt in Girona, Spain, who's having a tough moment in life. / Ayudar a mi tía en Girona, España, quien está pasando un duro momento en la vida.

ABOUT ME
Graduated from CSSD, London University, with an MA in Applied Theatre. I work with all sorts of people, using drama and yoga, for social development. I'm very respectful, curious, and in love always for learning. I love traveling and meeting people from different backgrounds to open my mind. I enjoy simple stuff: being in nature, dancing, hearing a podcast, having a deep talk with a glass of wine or coffee, listening to music, and/or playing a song with my guitar or piano. I love philosophy, especially related to Taoism and stoicism.

After 16 years of yoga practice, in 2019 I opened my yoga school, Uzu Yoga. Follow me on social media as @uzu.yoga

PHILOSOPHY
Learning from every little thing that crosses my way.
Life is short and moments are unique, so do the things you have to do when life allows you to do so.
Be always grateful, for everything in life is simply a marvelous gift.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man, Black Rock City, 2014: I lived and performed with The Living Theatre Company (NYC) for 1 week at one of the craziest and more exciting fests I've ever been. I simply loved it. I so much recommend you to go there if you happen to be around that dry-dry desert.
I had a funny not-so-funny moment on the last day of it: the fest had ended. Half of the company had left, as most of the people from the whole fest. The desert started feeling again as what it was before: a vast emptiness. Some of us stayed 1 more day cleaning in depth our campsite. We took every plastic, every little piece of ash from the fire, to leave the sacred desert of Black Rock City as clean as we found it - I love that caring and conscious way of having fun that you find in some places! --- Anyways, the plan was to depart before sunrise. The endless task of cleaning and organizing all our stuff was getting tough, and it took us the whole day. And so, around 3 in the morning, a few people from the company were already sleeping in the track, waiting to leave. For some "reason", around 4 in the morning, my body asked me to do a "quick" toilet. And so I did, telling no one about my survival plans: going to pee, basically, and maybe something more.
The thing was that... obviously, when I get back to our campsite, surprise!!! Neither the truck is there, nor the guys from the company!!! And I am in the middle of the desert alone, without anything of my stuff. No clothes, no food, no water, no nothing. No phone, no light, and I was getting colder and colder in the middle of that desert. "The guys have left... Did they notice that I wasn't in the track?" - I asked myself, without really know what to do.
Did the guys from The Living Theatre Company come back for me that day? And if they did, did they find me when they got there? Did I survive that experience, and it's me and not a spirit writing this? I leave you to imagine the rest. And maybe, one day, if we meet somewhere, I will be able to tell you the end of this true story.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you: Spanish, yoga and meditation. How to release tension, stress, and anxiety; a way to feel complete within you.
I can share with you a song with my guitar, a mantra, a day walking around, a movie. I can cook something for you for brunch or dinner.
Maybe I can learn from you a new recipe, a new word in a new language, or anything you would like to share with me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

When staying at someone's place, I will bring food and good vibes! I can prepare something for breakfast/brunch or dinner. I will be happy sharing a moment just talking or walking around your area. I can always help you with cleaning if you like. I love sharing what I know about meditation and yoga so if you like, we can practice during my stay.
