About Me

I was born in 1989 in Spain, but destiny took me to China on 2011, where I am still living.

I'm a pretty calm person, I think I've never argued with anybody so far. I try to avoid trouble as possible and get surrounded by positive people.

I would say music is 89% of my life. I love discovering new bands from all over the world. I'm specially interested on China-HK-Taiwan underground scene (weirdo!). I do play guitar since I was 10.

I'm an avid foodie. I'm pretty much in love with south-east Asia food. Well, actually with all asian food. No, wait, with all kind of food.

I write a blog about China since 2013 and in 2017 I started a YouTube channel about life and traveling in China.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy. Respect. Learn. Share.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to discover those places that travel guides never mention. I'd be pleased to do the same with those visiting me.

Interests

Music, food, music, food, music, food, music. And food.

Also travelling, isn't it obvious?

Music, Movies, and Books

I specially enjoy reading japanese writers as Murakami, Banana Yoshimoto, Kenzaburo Oe...

My favorite movie ever is Nobody Knows by Koreeda.

I can't really choose my favorite music, I listen from naif pop to screamo. If it's good music, who cares the style? If I had to choose one... I'd say Lostprophets has been the band of my life. They ended in a pretty bad way, though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once was a kid.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Spanish language and culture or how not to play guitar.

I seriously have to practice my mandarin.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Cuba, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, Spain
