Hey, I'm Javier. My middle name is Antonio, so I usually go by Tony. I'm really open-minded and love new adventures. I love to travel and explore new places. I've only traveled in the United States and Puerto Rico so far, but I'm planning on some international travel soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've couch surfed with friends while traveling before, and it was always a great experience. Now that I have a place that I can host surfers, I thought I would join and offer up my place to pay it forward. I really think couchsurfing is the best way to travel because you truly get to experience the community like a local.

I also met some really amazing and diverse people while surfing, but didn't have an account or know much about couchsurfing then, so we didn't stay in touch. I'd like to use CS to keep in touch with some of the great surfers and hosts I meet.

Interests

I love all outdoor activities. Hiking, biking, swimming, etc. I also like playing sports outdoors. Soccer, ultimate frisbee, and volleyball are some of my favs.

I'm a nudist and am interested in naturism/nudism philosophy and events. I am also interested in public nudity events. I haven't been to the WNBR or Burning Man, yet, but they are both definitely on my bucket list!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music! I think music is a great art form and all of the different styles are great for different moods. Some of my favorite genres are reggae, bluegrass, jazz, pop, 70s psychedelic rock, electro-dance... I could go on and on.

I also love movies, but I'm more into dark independent films than Hollywood blockbusters. Little Miss Sunshine, Melancholia, and Heartbeats are three of my favorites.

Books! Books! Books! I love all books. Don't even get me started. Haha!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove through a tornado on a road trip in Kansas with some friends one spring. It was the most amazing and awe-inspiring experience... Also terrifying. Haha!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people about the nudist lifestyle.

I need to learn more French and Spanish and practice what I already know. I also need to learn how to cook.

I can share my life experiences with others and I hope they'll do the same.
