ABOUT ME

Galician, born and raised in A Coruña and grown in Madrid, Morocco, Croatia and Brussels. I am a journalist currently working in communication, human rights in Brussels :) and I am keeping on travelling in an authentic and real way as much as I can.

I love life, people, conversations, I like to share a meal, a drive, a movie, a hike, a party. I like the sun and the sea in summer and I love the moon. I like to constantly learn and live. Languages​​, food, culture, new philosophies, new customs, history, different ways of looking at life.

Most of the time I like to laugh, read, write, have fun, have new experiences and preserving the old ones, going out or being relaxed with the nature, by the sea... But I am also a journalist, so I will always be willing to talk about politics, history and hard stuff, and eager to learn as much as possible from new points of view. Always evolving and enjoying good conversations. Plus, I have very little memory for the bad things. I am always under construction!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe deeply in the value of being honest with oneself and with the others, but I also believe in the value of sense of humor, kindness, hospitality, respect but also spontaneous madness and questioning the rules. I am learning not to be afraid of the faults.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have participated hosting and being hosted and all experiences have been amazing so far. I have met very interesting people, some of them are now friends. For now I can not accommodate anyone, but I can help you discover Brussels and Belgium ans have a good time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my stay in Madrid, I got four or five CouchSurfers in just two months, and was a very intense and very positive experience. I met people from Holland, China, France, Belgium, Switzerland ... and it was amazing. Now, in Brussels, I am in contact with other people from other countries who help me to travel and discover new things without moving from my home :) It's great!

Interests

I like traveling, I like the beach, running, laughing. I like getting lost in places I do not know. I like wandering, writing, reading, studying. I love politics, history and literature. I love music and party until the sun rises. I like the spontaneous and unexpected deep conversations. I like people. I like to sleep, to sing when no one is listening. I like Madrid, Rome and Marrakech. I love my family, I like the photography. I like the night and the heat and the summer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most exciting thing I've done has been living and working in the Moroccan desert and all the experiences I lived those months: sleeping in the Sahara desert under the starry sky, soaked in a rainstorm in the Djema el Fna square in Marrakech... And recently, discover the amazing town of Sarajevo, stared at the Pyramids in Egypt and many many others :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can not teach too many things but I can cook. I like to tell stories about places, cities or characters, and share interesting things I've learned or read in my life. I know how to prepare shishas and make circles with the smoke. I know four or five words in Arabic, and I can handle in four or five languages. I can do the back flip. I know the lyrics to all the songs I hear. I like learning languages and can teach Spanish or Galician, I like to know the situation and history of other countries and other people, I like to learn and discover about me and about the others, and about things I do not know, I never get tired of it. I'd like to learn to take good photos. I like to share almost everything, but I think the most interesting thing that two people can share and learn is future.
