ABOUT ME

I read, re-read, disprove cynics (because I value my naivete/idealism quite so), self-incapacitate, stare into thin air, day dream, take buses, dance, starve, binge, worry, laugh, give cookies to all cookie-deserving souls, rescue rabbits and pray.

I listen to Feist, Rachael Yamagata, old school bossanova, Sufjan Stevens, Thom Yorke, Rufus Wainwright, Tokyo Jihen, Aspidistra Fly, Billie Holiday, Tokyo Jihen, Rick Astley, Pizzicato 5, and others.

I watch reality TV, Brit comedies and indie films, if possible.

What you've just read is something I had written when I was still a young man, filled with hopes and dreams. Truth is, I'm just an old fart now. Whoops?

I bring folks around and hang out a bit. I don't surf at all because I'm still quite uneasy about imposing on people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've brought a few guys around and introduced them to a slightly more quirky side of Singapore. Yes, it's not as soulless as you'd think.

Interests

I love learning.

I also believe in volunteering for causes I believe in. I used to do quite a bit of animal fostering, rescue, and rehabilitation. Currently, I befriend old folks under a programme and I also help out with outreach programmes in church whenever I can.

These days, however, what really fascinates me, is sleep.
