Overview
About Me
I have been living in Toronto for the last 4 years and absolutely loved it. I had an amazing career, great friends, played on multiple sports teams, and decided to put it all on hold. I recently resigned from my position to go traveling with a good friend to South America for 3 months and South East Asia for 4 months. I'm looking forward to meeting new people, learn about new cultures, explore and hike in new areas, and of course eat amazing food... Lets start the feast of eating my way around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and would like to learn more about the local culture in the places I am visiting. Instead of staying in hostels and only meeting other backpackers, I would prefer to meet and stay with locals to have their recommendations on activities, restaurants, etc.
Interests
I love playing sports, listening to music, cooking, eating out at restaurants (from a hole in the wall to 5 star dining), and drinking any type of red wine.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - anything - indie, jazz, classical, and even the odd country tune
Movies - I love comedies - slapstick humour to dry British comedies and you have won my heart! However, I could watch a drama like yo mamma - Shawshank anyone?
Books - I normally prefer non-fiction - let's keep it real!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was deported from Australia twice. I'm not sure if that is amazing or idiotic ... maybe a little of both?!
Teach, Learn, Share
