About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Traveling Mexico, looking to work with artists along the way

ABOUT ME

I am down to earth, open minded and easy going. There is nothing I enjoy more than a thought provoking conversation, and (or) a good hike. I love to cook healthy meals. I am curious, and inquisitive. I enjoy a simple life and don't need many material things or amenities to be satisfied. I love to see people smile and I try to be a good listener; and engaged conversationalist and I make it a point to look people in the eyes when talking with them.

PHILOSOPHY

When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share my couch, and my kitchen!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience has been wonderful. I have hosted several surfers. I recently reconnected with my first surfer in Mexico; and my last and (technically current) surfer is now a life long friend who ended up moving into the communal space I share with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

documentary films, music from around the world and books that make me think differently about life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a birth assistant to my best friends homebirth.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am eager to learn about different cultures.

I love to build and create so if we can craft something together that would be amazing.

I would like to learn more Spanish.

I can cook and share vegetarian meals.

I have a background in early childhood education so I can help care for children.

I can help with house work and gardens.

I can teach how to make hemp and/or leather jewelry and, also can make really awesome stationary cards.

I am really good at planning and coordinating events and like to be involved in community organizing and activism.

I can show how to make low cost all natural cleaning products and give insight into herbal remedies.

I can teach how to hula-hoop.

I will exchange stories and experiences with you.
