Overview
About Me
Creative, free spirited, fun loving, down to earth, easy going California girl is ready to see the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm taking an extended break from living and working in San Francisco to backpack Europe! I love the conversation, cultural exchange, and kindness at the heart of the couchsurfing culture.
Interests
I love to explore the culture of each city I visit, take long walks, see museums, attend community events, participate in the arts, listen to music, explore nature, read and write, meet new people and forge lasting connections.
Music, Movies, and Books
A few of my favorite books are the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles by Haruki Murakami, and Being There by Jersy Kosinski.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The backpacking trip I'm on now! I've had deep dialogue with extraordinary people of every background, seen things I've always dreamed of, tasted things I never imagined, and learned a lot about myself. The best part is that it's only the beginning!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My educational background is in humanities, so I'm often eager to discuss literature, philosophy, social institutions, the arts, and so on.
My work experience is in childcare and early childhood education. If you have children, I'm excited to meet them too!
I love animals, so am happy to help take care of them while I'm around.
Countries I’ve Visited
Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Macedonia, Mexico, Montenegro, Norway, Romania, Serbia, Sweden
