Hi my name is Jay Archer, I grew up in a small town in Ontario Canada named Carnarvon. We live on a beautiful lake and I have always enjoyed swimming, water skiing and sitting in the sun. I have always liked meeting the cottagers that come up to our lake in the summer and I was inspired by them to travel to new places and to meet new people. Currently I am traveling Europe with my best friend Felix, I am 19 and he is 18, we both love to play cards and to learn and teach new card games with people, we also like to go out and explore, lol we find getting lost sometimes gives an opportunity to see something great that otherwise we would not have though to check out. We both have met some amazing people on our journey's and are excited to meet new people in every place we go to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing to meet local people and to get a local perspective to the places we travel to. We are also trying to spend very little money

Movies- gone in 60 seconds, national treasure, planet earth, the art of flight, shooter, the girl next door, the dream walker, the avengers, x men, how to train our dragon, star wars.

Books- Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the maze runner, maximum ride, books about eco friendly building.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I come from a small town and there isn't too much to do, I would say the most amazing thing that I have done is taking the leap to begin a tour of Europe and Morocco:)

Teach, Learn, Share

We would love to learn about the local people in the areas we visit, also anything that our hosts would like to show us we would like to learn about.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can teach basic juggling, Moroccan rummy, regular rummy, we can share the music that Felix and I listen too, we can tell you about Lisbon Portugal, Fez morocco and about where we love in Canada:)
