My name is Jason Holmes, 26 from Cheshire, England. I enjoy travelling, trying new foods, cultures, seeing new scenery. Just finished 9 years military service and looking to use the time between careers now to see as much as possible with my girlfriend Clarissa, who has just finished her Masters and is joining me on a career break adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Starting August 4th, me and Clarissa will be heading west and not stopping until we hit Japan 11 months later. Stops include: Iceland, Canada, USA, South America, Australasia, South East Asia, Japan. We're hoping to meet new people and hopefully save a little bit of money along the way and we see couch surfing as the perfect opportunity to do both.
