About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to build deep, meaningful and life-changing relationships, and to give freedom where it is needed.

ABOUT ME

Kind-hearted adventure nut. Always on the go, and a worldwide adventurer. Passionate father.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a firm believer in the fact of give and put out there what you want to receive. I try to give as much kindness and trust, and I have found that I receive the same.
I'm also hoping to ignite the passion for freedom and adventure in people's souls.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had amazing Surfing opportunities from New Zealand, to France, to Cincinnati. I've also hosted a few people with amazing stories traveling the world, and the US. Just finished hosting a trans-continental bicycle rider as well as a Motorcycle rider heading out on a summertime adventure. Amazing experiences with all of them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed 3 times and found it to be an amazing experience, meeting new folks in their towns. I've also hosted 3 times and again, an amazing experience. My son and I surfed in Brides Les Bains, France and will have a friend for life in Guillerme. I also was hosted in Cincinnati, and then return hosted Jeanette back in Colorado. It was great to return the favor.

Interests

I spend my time adventuring. I ski over 100 days per year, love to see new places and hear peoples stories. I like to say that I ignite the passion for freedom and adventure in people's lives.
Currently I'm living in Europe for the year. I'll be skiing the Swiss and French Alps during January through March of this year and then traveling to a different country each month after that. It should be an amazing year.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not many on the movies but I'm up for all kinds. Music I'll listen to the spectrum also. As for books I've enjoyed the junk books for a while, now into non-fiction adventure books. Loved the Dan Brown series. Clive Custler was a favorite in the day, and of course, Steven Covey and the work that he did.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise from Hahn's peak north of steamboat springs under 26 inches of fresh powder. Heli Skiing in Canada. Watching the awe of travel in my daughter's eyes as we took on London.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love this philosophy. I meet people all over and make sure that I share what I can, and it always come back to me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a wealth of experience from retiring early from the software game, to starting my own adventure business, to living abroad for a year, donating my kidney to my best friend, and setting a Guiness world record as a team of living kidney donors.
