I'm a 23 year old from Manchester moving up to Edinburgh in a week to start a job with a charity working on social justice issues in the NHS. I've done a fair bit of travelling in the past, most recently a six week solo hitching/hiking/wild camping trip around the Hebrides. I love a lot of different music and read a lot. Fairly decent cook I reckon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for a place to stay in Edinburgh for a few days or a week while I get stuff sorted out, hopefully I can start hosting once I find a place!

Music, Movies, and Books

Listen to so much different music I don't know where to begin - mostly rock, metal, punk, singer songwriter, folk, and stuff I can dance to. Day to day mostly play Van Morrison, The Cat Empire, Mischief Brew, Burial, Against Me, Tool, currently blasting out the Beans on Toast to keep myself chilled for the move.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Weird writing this stuff but I'm extremely chilled out, open minded and excitable. After hitching around a lot and staying with a bunch of strangers that seems to be what makes people happy to have hosted me. Very passionate about the stuff I'm into and love to learn about other people's experiences and perspectives on things. Can also do deep conversations on philosophy and politics, cook, and tell the odd travel story.
