I have made a living as a musician for several decades, as a solo Harpist and with the Celtic duo The Harper and The Minstrel. I play several Historical Harps such as the Claírseach (the wire-strung Irish Harp). the Gothic Bray Harp, and the more contemporary Electric Harp. I also play the Viola da Gamba and Guitar.
I am the former President of The Historical Harp Society in the States and a member of The Historical Harp Society of Ireland. Some of my Harp music has appeared in Television Programs and Independent Films.
I am a certified Meditation Guide and Sound Therapist.
My wife Abby and I have been to Ireland twice. The last time we played concerts in Cork and Waterford. We plan to return in July and August of 2025 to volunteer to play music for seniors at nursing homes in the Limerick and Waterford areas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As we plan to volunteer, we want to save on travel expenses. We would also love to spend time getting to know people in Ireland.
