About Me
I love to travel, meet new people and have a good time, plain and simple.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm an American living in Oslo. After seven years in wonderful NYC, I packed my bags for a new Scandinavian adventure and am enjoying each minute of it, one waffle at a time.
I first began couchsurfing when I was living in South America, volunteering for a humanitarian organization (and naturally, on a tight budget). I met some of the coolest people backpacking through South America, with whom I still keep in touch with. While I don't couchsurf as often when I travel, I've decided to re-join the CS community by hosting.
I've always been a believer that the best traveling is done with local knowledge!
Interests
Surfing (on water and on couches), live music, triathlons, volunteerism, trying out new restaurants and hotspots, travel!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm a thrill-seeker, especially when traveling - I've skydived in Paraguay, hiked through a jungle for five days in Colombia, cliff-jumped in southern France, surfed in northern Brazil, double-blacked in Vail, eaten food from a street vendor in India, and hope to run with the bulls in Pamplona this year!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in a 1-bedroom apartment in the Frogner neighborhood with a large living room with two full length couches.
