About Me
Recent college grad looking to see some of the world before selling his soul for the next 40 years. Always polite sometimes funny
I'm going to be traveling near the Mediterranean soon, particularly seeing a lot of Greece so if anyone wants to let me sleep on their couch or just hangout it would be much appreciated
I like reading, drawing, writing, doing irresponsible things outdoors, and talking about new things with people
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll talk to you all day about superhero movies. I also really liked John Wick, The Shawshank Redemption, Scott Pilgrim, The Departed, The Godfather, the Big Short,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was in Belize I went into the ATM caves - what the Mayans used to call the Underworld. The only way in is to swin through an hourglass shaped hole in the rock.
Inside it varies from huge and open to so tight your neck will be scratched once you squeeze through. There are different artifacts and relics all scattered throughout the cave that are almost 1200 years old.
But the main thing that really seals the deal is the sacrificial chamber. You climb up some rocks covered in clay and the stalagmites are casting huge shadows from your torches. Its eerily quiet and as you turn a corner you see the skeletons of the victims, thousands of years old. They glitter like gemstones because they're covered in calcified crystals. Spooky. But the most profound thing about it is the realization that each one of them used to be a person with fears and hopes and dreams just the same as you, just born at the wrong time.
Without waxing philosophical, its a really cool experience I would recommend to anyone;
I've also been scuba diving
Teach, Learn, Share
If anyone wants to learn about Finance, Economics, History, computers, or art history I'm your guy
I'm also not too bad at shooting, canoeing, or climbing but those probably aren't going to come up too often
I'd love to get better at the languages I'm learning or to learn the history of the region I'm in
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some laughs, some book recs, some movie recs, an impromptu finance lesson, and a polite and respectful attitude at all times. I can help you practice your English!
I'm also fine with helping you move furniture if you need it and my grandmother says I'm "a very nice young man"
