About Me

This section is always under construction/fine-tuning :-).

About me

I am a nice, open-minded, tall gay guy. I might be quiet (some would say shy) at the beginning but I quickly open up. I don't have a television since 2000 but I have a cat.
I am still quite new to Brussels (since October 2015) and I am still building up my network here and discover this beautiful city every day a little bit more. At the moment, I am loving my life. Being and working in Brussels is awesome and allowed me to get in touch with amazing persons.

About my place
A lovely little house not far from the European District, in the backyard of a Belgian-type building with a small garden and a terrace. On the ground floor, the living area, open space from the kitchen to the living room. I am still furnishing it and for some furnitures, still sketching them out.

About the couch
The sofa bed (2-person) is in the living room.

About my cat
A 8-y.o. indoor quiet cat which is curious, nice, very friendly. Always looking for some patting but never on the head (that is how I reprove it when it behaves badly). It is allowed to go everywhere in the house so it might come and see you during the night but it had always prefer my legs than others' ones when it comes to sleeping.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have discovered it very recently through an amazing host (my BF). Couchsurfing brought me so much as a co host that I want to take a real part in it by getting out of my comfort zone and hosting couchsurfers myself and being hosted when travelling.

Interests

I am interested in people, culture (Circus, Theater, choreography, art, museums, architecture), politics, cooking (I love it and sharing it with a long table of friends), music, DIY handcraft

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Everything (from Bach to Rammstein and MIA and Katy Perry), any time (but sleeping time). A real crush for The Knife, Ein Deutsches Requiem, Cigarette after Sex and Björk.

Movies
Fantasy, James Bond. Anything but horror film. I have recently introduced to some amazing series: how to get away with murder, quantico.

Books
Fantasy, thrillers. A big fan of (the first) Swedish thriller writers. Essays. Science. Sociology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have prepared, organised and make possible the catering of 2500 students for 5 days during a sport event.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't teach or learn as these sound too school-like but I am sure everything comes through exchange and ready to exchange on everything (And I mean it!). This feeds both of us and helps us to move on!

I have views but I am always open to new/other opinions and experiences .

What I Can Share with Hosts

For sure, stories and laughs!

I can share my knowledge of Brussels and other cities. Guide you around and share my passion for food, wine, culture, travels.
