About Me

ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Ye ,Jian-Liang, and I am from Taichung, Taiwan.
my family, which consists of my mother and father and my younger brother. We are all devoted Christians. My Parents are very well respected in our community, and they are both civil servants in Taiwan. They have always pressed on us the importance of doing things carefully and making sure that when we put our minds to any task we should do it properly and to our best ability. For this my parents have been great mentors and people to follow. When I was younger I was very lively, and outgoing. I used to be known as the
“King of the children” in our neighbor hood. Our parents put a lot of effort into our education. They sent me to a bilingual school, and I always had an inquisitive mind and I always asked lots of questions in all my classes. My English also improved at the English second language school I went to. I have continued to try and improve my English at every
opportunity possible.

Interests

During my undergraduate degree at Feng Chia
University, I tried to be involved in as many sports and activities as possible. This particular
campus provided the ideal place to practice English at their local café, which was called
EZ Café. Here they taught English in a relaxing environment, and we continually used to
study different themes, and we were able to interact with a lot of foreigners. Therefore I am
at ease when talking to and being surrounded by people of different cultures and pasts.
They were from United States. United Kingdom. Brazil. Japan. Luxembourg, and France. I
became good friends with them and most of them were international and exchange
students. We used to play basketball and go out for dinner and drinks as well as take part
in language exchange. This was a great experience and I am grateful to Feng Chia
University for providing me with such a good English environment.
