About Me
I work as a software developer for an international company. I am still trying to not to get lost in flood of new technologies and I am trying to learn something new in my field. All the time... I also run small startup which is focused on transparency of the job market in Czech Republic. This is my little sand pit where I can apply new things which I learned...
I have been bit busy with my family life recently because I have two small kids (4,5 years old and 2,5 year old), so I did not manage to participate in CS as much as I wanted :-) However, those guys are getting more and more self sufficient so I hope my traveling ban will change soon and I will be able to gain some more CS experience again!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hosted couple of travelers so far and I hope I will have an opportunity to host some others in the future. I also try to participate in some CS meetings - I prefer those outdoor ones when one can have some fresh air in the nature out of town ;)
Why I am here - to help others and to find some friends!

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favourite movies are: American Beauty, Butterfly Effect, The Matrix, Donnie Darko, Twelve Monkeys, Inception and many more...
Music: I have lots of favourite bands and genres. (U2, Coldplay, The Who, Razorlight, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy slim, Faithless, MJ... and many more).
Favourite books: There are many, Discworld from Tarry Pratchett, well known trilogy from J.R.R. Tolkien, The Cuckoo's Egg, Godfather... I recently discovered literature about running, which now I also highly recommend to everyone: Born to Run from Christopher McDougall, Dean Karnazes - Ultramarathon Man: Confessions of an All-Night Runner
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
2005 - We went with bunch of friends to vegetable farm in Great Britain. Despite poor accomodation, misery work conditions, low pay and terrible weather, it was one of the greatest times of my life :) We had really lot of fun and we did not care at all about anything.
2008 - I came back together with my girlfriend again to GB. We spent 8 months in an English family near Milton Keynes. We worked there as an "au-pair" couple. I gained experiences as a handyman, gardener, farmer, taxi driver and babysitter - all in one :D That was something totally different from IT world in which I am all the time.
