Overview
About Me
Polish-Canadian who settled in Goa after traveling to 30 countries.
I'm vegetarian (dairy + eggs ok) and teetotal (no alcohol) and get my fun from having a healthy lifestyle. Occasionally 420 friendly but nothing other than that.
Currently on sabbatical after working 5 years in fintech.
INTJ for those who are into MBTI ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of my best travel memories were thanks to homestays. Now that I have my own place with lots of room to spare, I'd like to pay forward the hospitality.
Interests
Physical interests: I like to stay fit with activities like kickboxing, weight lifting, animal flow, iyengar yoga, aerial yoga, surfing, swimming, kayaking, cycling, and hiking.
Food interests: I like exploring new restaurants that specialise in anything healthy and vegetarian (lacto-ovo). Also enjoy cooking at home and brewing all sorts of varieties of teas. My biggest weakness is my sweet tooth.
Artistic interests: I love photography, drum circles, and board games, and I'm trying to learn bachata/salsa/kizomba.
Intellectual interests: Always down to discuss and debate politics, economics, tech, and urban planning. My biggest pet-peeve is car-centric cities.

Music, Movies, and Books
Podcasts:
Joe Rogan, Lex Friedman, Huberman Lab, Iced Coffee Hour, Colin & Sameer Show, History of Everything.
Music:
Love Latin, afro, jazz, reggae, reggaeton, bhangra, anything with a good drum beat, and 90s hip hop for workouts.
Not a fan of rock, metal, psytrance.
Books:
I mostly read non-fiction, and often based on whatever skill or subject I'm interested in at the time. Twitter has consumed most of my reading time these days.
Movies:
My favorite genres are sci-fi, war films, comedy, and documentaries.
I'm open to most genres except horror.
Love watching stand-up comedians -- especially sharp, witty, and dark humor.
Don't like watching sports -- prefer to use that time to do sports instead ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Did a university semester on a ship, studying nutrition, environmental politics, development economics, and global religions while crossing the ocean and visiting 19 countries (Semester At Sea).
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can teach a healthy lifestyle, vegetarian cooking, photography, and travel tips for India and the world.
Learn:
I'm trying to learn bachata/salsa/kizomba, get back into coding (coding skills got rusty as a Product Manager), and also learn how to better document my travels (one of my biggest regrets as a traveller was not keeping a video record of it).
What I Can Share with Hosts
The guest room in my villa + a nice rooftop space with olympic rings and view of the river + my time.
