About Me
Hi there! I'm Jaya, a 21-year-old student and entrepreneur with a passion for travelling. I believe travelling is essential to personal development and cultural understanding of the world around us. It frustrates me that the majority of our generation feels heavily restricted in how often they can travel, mostly due to financial reasons. My goal is to show others how travelling for cheap is fun and possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There are many reasons why I would like to use Couchsurfing for my travels. First and foremost, I love the opportunity to meet new people and make connections with locals and other travellers. Couchsurfing allows me to stay with a host who can provide insight and recommendations on the best things to see and do in their city. I also enjoy being able to immerse myself in the local culture by staying with someone who lives in the area.
In addition to meeting new people and gaining valuable local knowledge, Couchsurfing is a more affordable option for accommodations. It allows me to stretch my travel budget further and stay in places that I may not have been able to afford otherwise.
Another reason I enjoy couchsurfing is the opportunity to have a more authentic travel experience. Staying in a hotel or Airbnb can sometimes feel impersonal. Couchsurfing allows me to truly experience the daily life and culture of a place by staying with someone who lives there.
