Born and brought up in India, currently a Graduate student doing Data Science at TU Delft, Netherlands. Living in India for the first 23 years and moving to Netherlands was a big change but I love it here already!
In my first six months in Europe, I have been to Brugges (For the love of hot chocolates), Den Haag (It's so close and my French friend would make me crepes...!), Dinant (I would go again just for the breathtaking view from the citadel) and twice to Amsterdam - all during the weekends. Apart from these short trips, I have been to Sweden (And yeah! I saw the Northern lights!) and Malta on a slightly longer winter vacation. I spend the rest of my weekends by visiting the Weekend Delft market (where I absolutely love the fish) or getting some coffee or drinks in one of those cozy little bars by the canal or travelling to Gent. I'm also trying to learn a bit of Dutch. Proost!
Well, If all that doesn't say much, I'm a foodie with average culinary skills, bookworm (only fiction counts), adventure lover, amateur photographer (@_jaya_c in instagram), Queen of the Andals, breaker of chains and Mother of dragons.

I believe that there is no better way to learn about a place and it's culture than socializing with the local people. Couchsurfing is a great platform that provides exactly what is needed to get the best out of travelling.
