Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to avoid mainstream America until the last date possible. In order to stave off this inevitable conclusion, I want to travel everywhere I can and meet new and interesting people at any opportunity.
ABOUT ME
My name is Alex. I'm fully aware that it's a boy's name. I've never minded much. I'm terrified of birds and fish, things that move too slowly, and things that move in large groups. I could talk to a wall for hours, and I truly enjoy the taste of dirt. I giggle like a child, especially when talking to myself. I tend to believe that the world is like me, and I'm often shocked to find that the opposite is true. Apparently, not all kids were all that tempted to bite the chalk in the classroom. Who knew? I'm not complicated, and I won't lie. I just might change my mind from time to time. You can generally predict my mood from the straightness or curliness of my hair, but sometimes I'll throw in a curveball just to confuse you. I'm a lot of things all at once, and I don't expect everyone to be able to handle it. Nor do I expect anyone to appreciate it while it lasts. I've learned more than that already. I tend to go a little overboard. With everything.
I know myself pretty well, but I still surprise me. Don't be shocked if I'm not what you thought either.
PHILOSOPHY
I follow my heart. Most of the time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am completely new to CS, but I'm really excited about the idea of what it offers. I'm planning a trip with my cousin to Boston, Baltimore, and D.C., and I would LOVE to have my first real experience with CS then. Once our house is finished with renovations, I can't wait to host!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This will be my first CS experience, and I'm looking forward to it!
Interests
I love live music, indie films, new experiences, and discovering things I didn't expect.
