Things I like: Rock'n'roll. Sufi zikr ceremonies. Group jams with improvised harmonies. Nizar Qabbani's heart and Joanna Newsom's brain. Street cuisine. Moderately arduous hikes. Progressive politics. Sexy black boots. Comprehensive sex education in public schools. I'd like to learn more about Derridean deconstruction. I'd also like to learn more about craft cocktails. I love falling in love, or better yet, rising to love's occasion. What else? Hot sauce, peculiar hats, and backwoods camping.

Things I dislike: Ontological absolutes, false cognates, abrasive individuals, oppressive social systems, tomato ketchup.
