About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To squeeze joy and wonder out of every second and take full advantage of all the privilages of the gift of being alive.

ABOUT ME

Me and my little sister Jessie are looking to do some traveling to Ireland this summer.

I finished my undergraduate college degree in Psychology last May and have been working since. This Fall I'll be starting a pretty rigorous PhD program and I'm hoping to do a little bit of traveling before then.

I consider myself a walking contradiction. I'm extremely hard working and will stop at nothing to complete what I set out to do, but at the same time I'm crippling lazy. This leads me on a ton of great adventures and make life a fascinating ride. My plans, goals, and aspirations change almost on a month to month basis (sometimes to the frustration of my employers) but I wouldn't have it any other way.

My little sister Jessie is in her 3rd year of a Civil Engineering program here at Colorado State. Shes one of the smartest and silliest girls you will ever meet. I couldn't think of a better traveling partner and am excited to explore the world with her.

We want to live as well as we can and not miss out on a single thing. I've only recently discovered couch surfing through a friend of mine can't believe nobody told me about it sooner. What better way to see the world than through the lives (and couches) of the people in it.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that most people in our modern world have lost sight of what it means to be human. We get so caught up in the day to day and fulfilling others expectations we lose sight of our sense of wonder, exploration, and how cool even some of the most routine things are. I don't want to lose sight of that, ever. I love being alive and want to have great stories to take with me when its all over.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I promise if you spend a night on my couch or let us spend a night on yours we'll do everything we can to share the gifts I've been given and make your life better for the experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We're fairly new to couch surfing but we hope that doesn't turn anyone off to us. I can't offer a couch right now since my living situation doesn't allow it but come August I would love to share my home with any and everybody who wants it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked up and over 5 mountains and 23 miles in one day once. I've never slept as good as I did the night after.
