About Me
Ex-city boy adapting to new country life in Kofu, Yamanashi. I can see Mount Fuji everyday from my place (when it’s not raining )
Transiting from non-tax paying student to tax-paying corporate slave Always somewhere in between. Did a one year Erasmus in Germany. Had my Japanese bachelors degree in Tokyo in economics/ international development. Volunteered in Poland. Tortured by the pressure cooker education system Of Singapore. Not all Singaporeans are rich. But I’m Always hungry.
I love politics, current affairs and international relations in general. I have hosted several model United nationals and founded international relations society in high school. Studied a lot about European Union and probed about the possibility of an east Asia union. Hope to embark on the Silk Road Trip one day. I work in a market intelligence firm now and deals with data about the energy and commodities market. Hope I can play a part in helping to solve the climate change.
My dream is that one day the whole world will converge together as one and national barriers will be broken down. For that, we will need equal development. Nations are a social construct and imagined reality anyway!
I’m currently learning programming and I’m interested in creative destruction and how to make things more efficient. I wrote my bachelor thesis on entrepreneurship.
