Overview
About Me
I love Columbus, Ohio. Columbus is my home and one hell of a city. I moved here as an undergraduate at The Ohio State University and have been here ever since.
In that time, I’ve worked to get involved in the city’s technology, startup, entrepreneurship, and music scenes. Really, those are two broad circles with a ton of intersection. I want to sit at that intersection and help both sides of the table.
As a founder (MarketOSU) and former small business owner (Tixers) myself, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned that I don’t really know anything. But I work at that every day now as a leader at CrossChx, and then I take those experiences to help my friends and community. Together, we will step on the gas and keep driving Columbus forward.
This mindset drives my involvement with Startup Weekend and now the Create Columbus Commission. I’m excited to work with my peers and city leaders to shape the future of our city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting new people and making new experiences. When I travel alone, I like to stay with others if nothing else than for a little guidance on the local area. I am very low maintenance, will likely spend a bit of the time working on my laptop, but would love to check out some local music, bars, or shows.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None - but I'm an avid Airbnb user. I toured Europe for 21 days a couple years ago and used Airbnb the whole time before learning Couchsurfing was available. You can check out my profile and read my reviews here! https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/5264582
Interests
I love entrepreneurship, traveling, reading, writing, and overall interesting people. I do have a bit of a habit of asking a lot of questions when talking to someone! Everyone has a story and I'd love to hear them all. I also enjoy napping, eating, trying new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all music, but especially alternative music. I read a lot of nonfiction and business books including the 4-hour work week, How to Win Friends and Influence People, 48 Laws of Power, Rich Dad Poor Dad, etc.
Documentaries and live music are also some of my favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been canyoning in Interlaken, Switzerland.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to talk about social dynamics and how to build positive relationships with people. Practically, I have some years of experience in entrepreneurship/building and running a company. I'd love to share either.
