I was born and raised China, and I came to the U.S. for college. I would totally consider myself bi-cultural in both the U.S. and China. Also, my grandfather is Russian, so my family embraces Russian culture and we all play the accordion.

I am a minimalist. I collect memories, not materials.

I am currently living in Austin, TX, and I work as a data scientist. I am quite easy going. I feel most comfortable in environments that are completely foreign to me, where I can be like a 3-year-old again and be fascinated by the world surround me. Someone says ignorance is bliss, and I completely agree.

I am always curious about the meaning of living. I would love to hear different opinions from people with different backgrounds.

I love nature for its simplicity or complexity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting local people! I love to share and listen stories from different people. Sometimes, I think the conversation could go even deeper since both sides will be more honest.
I am working on this project that is similar to Humans of New York. I will collect an interesting fun fact from every couchsurfing host I met, and put them in my journal. :)

I am a great story teller, and I have many great adventures that i would love to share with Couch Surfers.
