Traveling USA Feb and March. Will be in Cali (pref San Diego) and in need of a host for part or all of 5-26 Feb 2016.

I am from New Zealand and have been living in Sydney, Australia for the past five years. I work as an executive assistant and study media, expressive arts, and journalism part-time. I would really love to learn some new skills during my travels so I am happy to assist my hosts.

I am looking to make a difference and have real life experiences during my travels.

Being a tourist is nice, however for me, really immersing yourself in the lifestyle and meeting great people is what makes travel meaningful and memorable.

I love all genres of music! (everything from hip-hop to folk, classical and even some country) not really a top 40 fan. Pretty obsessed with Hozier at the moment.

I enjoy films by the Coen Brothers, David Fincher, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Wes Anderson, Chan-Wook Park, Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie...fan of the gangster flicks

My all time faves are The Simpsons, Seinfeld and Sopranos.

Books
Most of my reading is for school. Very much into biography's. But do love to be inspired by fiction. Often I will read an author's first book to get a feel for their unpolished work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently I did four action-packed days in Port Douglas and the ancient Daintree rainforest which included; Jungle surfing (zip lining) fishing, sea kayaking, crocodile spotting and snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef!
