ABOUT ME

I've become enchanted by travel, the world and its plentiful beauty. I love meeting and talking with new people, exchanging cultural differences and experiencing life in different ways. I've always been a social people person and love the thrills of traveling; the ups and the downs, but in the end it is remarkable just how wonderful your travels can be when you meet those certain few people who give you a different outlook on things or engage you in wild new conversations!

I'm a very easy going, easy to please person. Travel is still teaching me things about myself, but i feel that I've retained my sense of appreciation for the earths natural beauty and the wonderful humans who occupy it. I love a good laugh and am up for pretty much anything! Happy to share a drink, go hiking, adventure around the place or have a party.

I feel extremely open minded and very accepting of others culture an lifestyles. Perhaps its in the nature of studying philosophy that further trains you to value the opinion of others before illogically dismissing it based on your own predisposed prejudices or opinions.

I love my music! I've been a singer guitarist for some years now and enjoy playing shows around Melbourne town.

I love company, especially while traveling. Its always much greater to have someone you can turn to while your jaw is dropped, point and attempt to describe how breathtaking that view is. Or perhaps sharing the disgust of eating a grasshopper for the first time. or even just a sigh at the realisation there is still 4 hours left of your 12 hour overnight bus...

PHILOSOPHY

Buddhism, Quantum Mechanics, Nietzsche and Existentialist philosophy are fun to flirt with. Most likely, nothing is 'true'. However, even that statement itself claims to be a truth. What a mess! Play with possibility. Don't get too attached to your thoughts and ideals. Review the story you tell yourself about life, the earth and people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2014 I went to Helsinki for a short trip, while I was living in Sweden. It was here I had two wonderful hosts over the period of a week and used this website to meet around a dozen different people all from different countries! I had company the entire week and it was such a wonderful experience!!
