About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do as much traveling in my life time as is possible. To try anything new that I ever come across. Last but not least - to find that place that I am looking for...that place that is so awesome that I will want to stay :)
ABOUT ME
I have just finished up my teaching practicum in the UK. I was educated in the States, but was able to do the practicum in the UK for a bit of variety.
I have been traveling for some time. After I graduated from high school in the States I went to Ireland as an au pair and then to China to teach English. After China I found myself in England, that was an adventure and I stayed there for two and half years. It was a good time, but I decided to go to University and had to go back to the States for that.
My latest adventure just ended :( I just got back from my second large road trip. This time it was around Europe and I was able to visit: France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and England.
My friends tell me that I am pretty funny, but it's never on purpose :) Most of my comedy happens on accident and ends with me falling into something embarrassing - like a fountain or something.
I am very nice (doesn't everyone say that when talking about themselves?) and really out going. In other words, I love conversation - yes another stereotype of the American ha ha, but don't worry - while I like to be involved in conversation I am never the only one talking (otherwise it's not a very engaging is it)
I am an elementary school teacher and I love it. All of my placements have been great and I cry when it's the last day of school for me :)
My interests include just about everything. I love music and singing. I like food and cooking. I ride horses when ever I get the chance. I really love to dance and I'm not picky about style..I tango, swing, go club dancing or any other style under the sun. I love to try new things - my latest adventure was sky diving - I can't tell you how awesome that was. My next thing on the list is scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef.
In any case, I hope this has given you some sort of positive picture of me. I was introduced to this by a friend of mine who said I would love this since I travel so much and like to meet people. Perhaps I will see you on my travels if you are kind enough to host me or I may see you on yours if I am hosting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a road trip during the summer of 2008. It was 11,000 miles over the course of two months - my friend and I drove all around the States. The kicker is that we did it entirely on vegetable oil that we took from the rubbish bins behind restaurants ha ha :) how is that for cool?
