Born and bred in Singapore, and have visited several countries in and out of Asia. Having grown up in a cosmopolitan but small city like Singapore has taught me to not take my surroundings for granted, and to always stay curious about the world beyond. Always up for the next flight out and believe in the endless opportunities as long as you put yourself out there to give every adventure a try.

Planning to travel as much as I can, some places I hope to explore in the coming months include:
- Bali, Indonesia (I make it back every year!)
- Taiwan
- Europe

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

More than just being to experience a country's culture from a local perspective, I like how couchsurfing offers both host and surfer a chance to glimpse into the lives of people from different cultures. It not only educates me, but also opens me up to different perspectives.

Being surrounded by people fulfills me and brings me positivity. I love company and learning from people from all walks of life.

Interests

Nothing beats the opportunity of being able to experience a local culture in a foreign land than staying with a local itself. I have stayed in hostels and hotels through my various travels, and the best take-away from all my trips are definitely the friends and connections that I have made. Like the saying goes, some of the best memories in lives are those made with friends. All these places that I have visited would not be the same without the touch of the various people that I have met and that changed my life forever.

Most importantly, I am super spontaneous and always up for adventure. You only live once (YOLO, right!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music: I honestly listen to anything and everything but my favorite go-to is folkrock. The likes of your milky chance, revivalists, 1975 and stereophonics. My music interests vary based on the environment that I am in - love indie and acoustics when I'm chilling and house/ EDM when I'm partying.

Favourite movies: I honestly watch anything and everything too. I am a sucker for romcoms and drama, but always up for a thriller or superhero flick any day.

Favourite books: autobiographies, non-fiction, thriller & crime, romance
