ABOUT ME

Hmm looks like I need to put a personal description - "if we asked your best friends about you, what kind of things would they say?"

Here is what I HOPE they would say - easy going guy, has a great sense of humor, should be a GQ model, and is as interesting if not more than the man in those Dos Equis commercials; if that's not what they say then they are no longer my best friends.

I am actually an easy going person and of course the rest is true! I am originally from Canada (therefore I have that strange sarcastic Canadian humor that no one gets) and was previously living in the Cayman Islands when I decided to quit my job to fulfill my dream of backpacking around Central and South America for a year. It was an incredibly amazing experience. I now find myself in another new country and am looking to meet unique and interesting people in New York.

Haven't had any couch surfing experience myself yet but have stayed in tons of hostels while traveling.

While I was living in the Cayman Islands, I hosted several people and had amazing experiences hosting them.
