I'm a stucco contractor cyclist who loves to travel. You can often find me building or tinkering with something, riding my bikes, camping or cooking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet new people in new places. I'm happy to cook a nice meal with a host, or buy them a drink somewhere at least. I'm also plenty independent, if you prefer not to hang out I understand and am thankful for a quiet place to stay. I am not a loud guest, and value being considerate above most things.

Interests

I enjoy most everything, with the exception of pickles and eggplant. Don't know why, they are just gross. I am a jack of all trades and a master of none. I can go from spinning fire one night, riding a bicycle 100 miles the next, then plastering a corporate headquarters another day. Im an outdoor enthusiast and a big nerd at heart.

I signed up for this site years ago and never ended up using it, but I am spending the winter traveling and hoping to use it to make new friends and memories along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to nearly everything. I've lately been on an electronic folksy kick, but also listen to hip hop and pop music . I enjoy camping festivals, though I don't go to live shows much anymore.

I read lots of fantasy and sci-fi. I sprinkle in some comics and non fiction in there too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've ridden a rope swing off the side of El Capitan hundreds of feet above the valley of yosemite. My family has been on the cover of a magazine.

Teach, Learn, Share

As far as teaching goes I am a stucco contractor by trade and years ago I began a YouTube channel hoping to pass on the knowledge I've gained (and of course advertise my company) and I have hundreds of videos showing pretty much every aspect of the stucco trade. It's exactly as boring as it sounds, unless you need to fix your house!
