Hi! I'm Jay, twenty-eight year old world explorer that left his native Australia three years ago on a "short trip" but ended up getting lost amongst beautiful places, incredible people and inspiring energy.

I travel solo but love having travel buddies too. I'm always seeking out the extraordinary and like to push the boundaries of whats possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed and hosted through South, Central and North America for the last 3 years. I have made life long friends from all around the world and received incredible hospitality from this community. I have been hosting travellers for the past year in an effort to return the karma & I love the upbeat and fun community vibe and the genuine help and advice I get from locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I surfed was in Colombia, solo. At the time it was one of the most terrifying and exciting things I had done. The couchsurfing community has proven to me how incredible people are. Thank You.

Exploring the infinite world in front of me.

I love nature and the outdoors! Experiencing new tastes and food is one of my favourite things about traveling. I enjoy casually writing about nothing and reading about geo politics, past and present. I love sports and will happily cheer on Australia at anything. I appreciate good coffee, cold beer and getting lost in nature and strange cities.
