I immigrated from the Netherlands when I was 13 and have lived in Canada ever since, I went to high school in New Brunswick, university in Nova Scotia (Acadia) and have lived in the beautiful Canadian Rockies of Alberta since I graduated. I am married and we recently became empty nesters. Our daughter is in her 3rd year at University of Victoria and our son is working at JPL in Jasper.
I was a teacher for a few years and then worked for the MS Society of Canada as an event/client services coordinator. I’ve been told that I’m friendly, chatty and easy to get along with :) I love the great outdoors while doing activities such as hiking, skiing, camping, swimming, etc. I also love going to folk festivals and dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My hubby and I will be travelling the world for an indefinite amount of time. We love meeting people and look forward to incorporating couch surfing into our adventure.
