ABOUT ME

I never got to travel much when I was younger and I really feel like Ive missed out. I really want to see the world and get to know all the people who inhabit it.

I am 28, Male. I am very open minded and liberal in my views. I love meeting new people and sharing in their experiences and world views.

I love music and theater. I spend my time in Chicago during the summer going to festivals, street fairs, parks and the beach (Yes, Chicago has a fantastic beach!) During the winter I am holed up in my apartment cause its frigid.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a lot of feelings! I think we are all here on our own accord and the way we treat people and the energy we put out in the world is a direct reflection of who we are as people. Just be nice to each other.

I love couch surfing and meeting new people. I also love Chicago and want to be able to share it with as many people as possible.

I love one phrase I saw on another couch surfers page:
"I hope that I can contribute to the global sense of community by opening my door to other people"

Intereses

I like music, theater, dancing, reading, lots of TV shows (Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Lost, Alias, Battlestar Galactica...) Exploring and seeing new things, helping people out, Showing off my city.

Música, películas y libros

Music: I love all kinds of music from Beyonce to Sufjan Stevens. My tastes tend to lean more towards to indie/underground then the mainstream, but I can get down to almost anything!

Movies: My favorite movie is Contact, hands down. Woody Allen movies are always a good time. Not a fan of shocker movies like the Saw series, but I do enjoy a good thriller movie.

Books: I love books series: Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Divergent, The Millennium Trilogy. Never Let Me Go is one of my favorites. Currently reading The Luminaries and In The Woods.

Seeing Spain as a youngster was great! It really changed my perspective on a lot of my ideas and opinions about life.

A tour of the Baltic Sea was great and ended in a week long stay in Stockholm. I loved it.

Moving to Chicago from the south was one of the best things I have ever done! I am constantly in awe of the people and opportunities that are available here.

I love theater and improv. I am also a trained graphic designer and know HTML. While im not an expert, Im sure I have some knowledge to pass on.

I also know American history and can easily pass on some tidbits that someone might find interesting.

On the other hand, I would love to learn more about the culture and history of other places. Its why we travel isn't it? I think anyone who has lived in a certain culture has the ability to impart some knowledge about it!
