I just found out about this site which is a fantastic addition to how I usually meet people on my vacations: hitting up cafes and listening to amazing stories from all the retired people who frequent them. I’ve received the best local tips this way and more often than not am invited to meet the family. lol

After selling my ranch in Alberta I’ve downsized and am pursuing further education. As an animal lover it has been an interesting transition with a lot less responsibility. I’ve learned to appreciate a great nights sleep and that it is okay to be still.
