ABOUT ME

I am a 28 year old from Mechanicsburg, PA with a high-functioning form of autism known as Asperger's Syndrome. I do not drink alcohol due to a drug conflict, but I like being around those who do. I also do not drive, due to disability- I use buses, trains, and planes to get around and have vowed to never let my inability to drive stop me from going where I want to go and doing what I want to do.

PHILOSOPHY

My goal is to live life to its fullest, using my God-given talents to compensate for things such as my inability to drive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live at home with mom and dad, so I can't vouchsafe for a place to crash, but I am more than happy to grab a bite to eat or a drink with you if you are in town. I tell all of my friends about this project and, while they laugh at me, I continue to try to convince them by word of mouth that this really is a great way to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been with some nice hosts in Baltimore, Washington D.C., Charlotte, and Boston including a very strong bond I have developed with a Charlotte host. I now go to NASCAR races with my Charlotte, NC host and have had gracious assistance from other couchsurfers in providing advice to help me build a profile. As a high-functioning autistic, I am proud to be accepted by this patient community.

Interests

professional sports, 80s cop show, CSIs, Law and Orders, travelling..I also collect hats and lapel pins. I enjoy mini golfing, playing strategy games, and just hanging out with my friends

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a car stuck in a snowbank just this past weekend- and actually saw the person get out!
