À propos de moi

*** IF YOU'RE NEW TO COUCHSURFING PLEASE READ THIS FIRST ***

So you've just made a brand spanking new account and you're eager to explore the world, but also don't want to pay for a hotel/hostel because strangers from the internet have couches just waiting for you, right? Unfortunately, murder is a thing, so if you have a new account I most likely will not host you. This is for my safety, and also out of respect for my roommates. However, feel free to send me a message if you want to hang out while you're here.

Here are some tips on getting responses:

- Try to give some people at least a week or two in advance when you send them requests. This is not a hard and fast rule, but it's something I do and I usually get responses.
- Include a reference to something you read in their profile. I get a lot of requests, so in order to narrow them down I only accept people who have read my profile. Usually their messages include something about burritos XD
- Fill out more of your profile. Common red flags for me are brand new profiles with only a few sections filled out, very few pictures, and zero references.
- Speaking of references, a good way to get them is to hang out with people. This is different than staying with or hosting people: the idea is that you meet up with other Couchsurfers and convince them you're not a serial killer so that they'll leave you a good reference. Look under the Hangouts section to find other travelers. Try to return the favor by leaving them a reference too!

Hope this helps! And welcome to Couchsurfing!

*** IF YOU'VE SOMEHOW SCROLLED THIS FAR AND HAVE NOT READ ANYTHING ABOVE THIS PLEASE STOP SCROLLING AND START FROM THE TOP ***

My goal in life right now is to travel the world in search of the best burrito. If you promise not to murder me while I sleep I promise to clean up after myself.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I travel a lot for work and have found that hotels, while nice, are incredibly boring to stay at. I'm a more adventurous type of person that likes to meet new people while picking up as many accents as possible. Mostly, though, this is a chance for me to fulfill my secondary goal of finding the comfiest couch to sleep on in the world.
