my friends would say nice things about me (what friends wouldn't?!) I am helpful around the house and try my very best to keep my things organized when I am traveling. I am a travel junky. I know how to accumulate things, but I also know how to let things go and start fresh.

My homes were always open to travelers. Now I am traveling and have found the very same hospitality almost everywhere.

I'm a photographer interested in culture and identity. I like people and sub-culture and learning new things and riding bikes and i really like to skate in swimming pools and bowls.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When Obama was elected, I was in D.C. and everyone was so happy and optimistic (it was sort of weird...but nice). So the AMAZING moment was when someone in a jam packed subway car lost their phone, and the people tried to stop the subway and find the phone's owner....needless to say, they did not stop the subway and I'm not sure that the owner was ever found...so maybe not THAT amazing, but I was taken aback by this feeling of community among the people in that moment.

I saw a kid on a bicycle hit a kid on a skateboard on a concrete ramp in Yopal, Colombia. The collision was nasty and the skateboarder lost 2 teeth. Why so amazing?! Besides the 2 little white masses floating in a bright red pool of blood on a drab concrete backdrop, it's because extreme sport accidents are CRAZY...excruciating pain, frantic people, shrieking, and a general chaotic mess....
