I have had just wonderful Couch Surfers at my house. It has been more interesting than I expected.

My favorite movie is Out of Africa. I love all types of music but especially vocal music. I read both fiction and non-fiction...latest non-fiction book I read is Swerve...it's worth it.

When I was in Cuba and was invited to a Santeria Festival by a musician who I met in a music shop. What was most amazing was the openness of the people I met and the fervor of the drumming and dancing.

Traveling by bus from Tallin Estonia to St. Petersburg and seeing villages I couldn't believe still existed.

Spending time in a village in Ghana and making friends with a woman and her mother.
