About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be real, kind, helpful, creative and free!

ABOUT ME

I helped build an estate that I intended to be a 'sweet haven' hobby farm, but had to let all that go. I finished raising my kids and then I built my home on a school bus, by myself. I choose to live pure and simple, close to nature. Loving and supportive connections are pretty much all that matters. I'm interested in the earth changes, and am excited to get to the good part!

I have hosted and surfed, but not active here for a few years and couldn't find my past profile and references.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's not ideal to live on my bus in the winter in the Pacific Northwest; that's my excuse to take off to warmer places. I am currently on an extended roadtrip around the Southwestern US, visiting and helping family and friends. I'm also open to exploring new areas and connecting with local big-hearted people via Couchsurfing. I plan to return to my home in Washington in February or March.

Interests

Nature, nurture, creativity, freedom, spirituality, anthropology, psychology, etc. . I'm curious about many things, including who we are and why we're here.

Music, Movies, and Books

Piano Guys, Native American flute (I have one with me), Mellow Folk, Alternative, Jazz. The poetry of Hafiz, audiobooks? Sci-fi movies, Gaia.com

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to meet the Ethiopian young woman I had sponsored since she was 7. We napped, ate, met her family and visited places around Addis Ababa.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do facilitated painting with people, and I have supplies with me, if you want to paint. I have a ukulele that I've learned a few chords on, and a wooden flute.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have my painting and crafting supplies with me. My ideal is to paint some of my impressions as I go. Maybe we can paint or make jewelry together, or I can create something for you? I cook, clean and organize. I have a calm, positive perspective, stories and wisdom and love to share.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, England, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Jamaica, Kenya, Netherlands
