About Me
Hello, I'm a fairly quiet girl who keeps to herself. Though be warned, once I open up to you, you might find I can be quite a riot! I love food; it's always my focus when I travel. I want to see and try all the best cafes and bars. Next would be checking out all the local authors. I usually spend my trips just walking around and taking in all the small differences that make the country I'm visiting unique.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I know that for people like me, Couchsurfing can be quite intimidating but I want to venture out of my comfort zone and give it a go. I was encourage to try Couchsurfing after I became friends with a bunch of different travelers in the hostel I was staying in while I was in Penang. They came from different countries, though most were from the UK, and we formed a big happy group and stayed together for the rest of my stay. They also ended up visiting the Philippines one by one, and I had fun touring them around with my friends. I thought it was such a nice experience that I wanted to emulate in every country I went to - and Couchsurfing might help me out with that.
Interests
During my free time, I mostly find myself watching anime and Korean dramas, and reading manga. Just light-hearted and fun stuff which helps me de-stress. Once in a while, usually when I have more time, I'll try darker stuff that messes with your mind and makes you think. I used to be an avid reader back in uni but since I've graduated, the only things I've read are my friends' updates on Facebook. Haha I'm trying to bring back the reader in me though, and I've discovered a newfound love for short reads like comics and graphic novels.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm more of a favorite author rather than a favorite books kind of person. As in I pick an author and choose to love all his books. Right now, my favorite author is Haruki Murakami.
